Физическое или логическое распределение узлов сети. Физическая топология определяет физические связи (каналы) между узлами. Логическая топология описывает возможные соединения между сетевыми узлами. В локальных сетях наиболее распространены три типа топологии - звезда, кольцо и общая шина.
